Default Who Missed Out?

Being that the RS is still being produced, I'm asking strictly about the .1 GT3. Is there anyone who wanted one that didn't get one? Regardless whether you bought one used or not. Most seem to say, if you're patient, you'll get one. Let's see what everyone says.

I actually know several people who want one and would buy one today if could get at a reasonable price.

I would have bought one at MSRP if I could of gotten an allocation that I could configure my way. Would have seriously looked at adding a used one but not at these markups. Not worth the wasted time and effort IMHO. I admittedly did not try that hard since it was PDK. Ended up selling 991 3 when I got GT4 allocation

I'm confused, "ended up selling 991 3 when I got GT4 allocation". So you did get a .1 gt3?

Just to clarify, bronson7 is asking for those who wanted a GT3 and could not get one, NOT those who want an RS. I hope I'm correct in my understanding bronson7.

Could not find an allocation. Looked for a year. Bought lightly used '15 from private party. So I guess I got one sorry Bronson, that's not what you wanted to know...

My bad. Too much turkey on the brain. I thought you were talking about the RS. I did get 991 3 which I bought used. Sorry for confusing the issue.

I think most got a 3 either new or used with nothing to little over. But many on here didn't get a RS cause they don't want to pay over. I think some would be willing to pay a little over 10-20k but not the 30-60k. I personally can't budget 30k plus over for the car and still would not feel good about myself playing 20 over.

I missed out. I was a bit late to the game, but failed on 8 attempts to buy a 991 GT3 for MSRP. One was damaged during PDI, two others were sold out from under me after I left a deposit, and several others were bait and switch on MSRP pricing once I was signing paperwork.

I'm enjoying my GT4, but I never thought it would be this hard to give Porsche my money for a GT3!

If you are listening PCNA, it would be great if enthusiasts like myself who want the car to drive and not flip it or let it collect dust could actually get one at MSRP!

I tried to get several RS's at MSRP too, but we all know how futile an attempt that is.

Yo bud! 100% with you here. I keep asking my dealer about the unsold RS they have coming. They still have it as no one wants the Panny Pig they are trying to unload with it.
I work with the GM mostly and so told him I know someone who doesn't mind paying in the range you mentioned.
