Since their cars are pretty new, I think the tire wear should be within 500 miles of the other, which shouldn't make a difference. Heat in tires is up to the driver, but just a couple dry launch control hits before staging is fine for these cars. Both could put 5 gallons of 100 or 104 at the track, should get it pretty close after this mixes with what is already in the tank from local gas stations. Definitely would be an epic night of racing, and I'll even pay for both cars fuel to get this done. lol
I am in. Phil?
I am 275lbs so advantage Phil

It will be for sure, I'm sure you guys will have a good time...
As I'm a numbers guy, I did some of the math to try and level the 10.904 our Qatar customer laid down to the 10.62ET you did. Conditions are very different, so not really so easy to compare directly, but drag times has some good air density calculators, so I used them, and they have a "corrected ET" that is likely off a bit due to how sensitive we already know the RS is to elevated temps, but is worth a look either way.
Interested in seeing the 2 of you for it. Try to pick a cool night so the numbers are still impressive!

This made me smile. Alot. Have been keeping an eye out over on the GT4 forum. Those fires a pretty bright given the amount of timber you are using :-). Took the GT4 to the track yesterday. Faster than it seems from the drivers seAt. Behaved quite differently on the limit. Fun...

Is anyone accounting for how many stickers Phil has on his car though?... those could add some serious speed which you'd then need to calculate for... consider the added weight of the stickers against their added performance potential?
For example, in exhibit A from our Smokies track day below, Phil's car won the sound-off, purely on account of his stickers...
All jokes aside, I forgot to remind the contestants below to pull in both paddles so that their rev limiters would shut off.. as it was both cars were in Park with no one touching the paddles so the revs stayed very meek in comparison to what could have been
