Jamie, just to be clear are you saying that the 991.1 GT3 headers from the 3.8L engine will work on the 4L 991.2 engine, or just the 991.1 RS engine? I am assuming that the 991.1 GT3 headers will not work on the new 991.2 GT3.

We're using a 200 cell metal core, tri wound cat core with Dundon custom cones on both sides...

991.1 GT3 work on the 991.1 GT3RS 4.0L and we are 95% sure they will work for the 991.2 GT3 4.0L. The length, diameter etc are all tuned for a 3.6L making 500hp with a 9000rpm redline. We know they fit under a 911R diffuser, the only thing we're waiting on confirmation on is the exhaust flange shape and bolt locations. Even if we have to change them, won't take long to do...

So Street (catted) and Race system is poised and ready for the 991.1's that will hit the secondary market and the new 991.2 GT3's!

Also just had the first Street system on a 991 GT3 at Laguna today and with GPS flap control and turnaways it passed the dB limit!

Have an update I'm putting together for Smokies on these two topics. Prototype solid lifter upgrade pieces are in production, and the Engine Health Monitor PCB prototypes are in production!

We also have our catted systems in stock, and getting great reviews by the first few installed!

Eric- 991 GT3RS

"What a masterpiece, top notch quality. I got it installed yesterday. Significant and instant power increase over the center muffler delete system I was running."

Probably naughty of me to mention here but I have a full 991 GT3/RS race system from Dundon I purchased and installed September last year. Very happy with the performance and sound but I have sold the GT3 and I'm still not sure if I have a firm 991.2 GT3 allocation.

If anyone would like to purchase this please drop me a PM...

You need to get them on the strip.. We need to see what kinda power Dundon systems are really producing.

What's next, Macca, if you can't get an allocation?

I agree 100%. I think Nick Yoskin with his Fabspeed header car and PhilGT3 with his Dundon header car should meet at Atco raceway on the same night and see what times they can do for comparison, since they both live in the Atco raceway area. Same night, same temps, same DA.

Still a few variables, but it would be a data point.

1. Condition of tires.
2. Heat in tires.
3. Quality of gas.

But I would want to see it!

^Those can easily be accounted for.. Agreed with Robbierob, same night, etc will make it ideal. If they are running street tires they really shouldn't hit the water box anyway (no burnout). With PDKS and launch control they should be fairly consistent and it would be enough to make for a true & great comparison.

Plus who doesn't love the drags?

Since their cars are pretty new, I think the tire wear should be within 500 miles of the other, which shouldn't make a difference. Heat in tires is up to the driver, but just a couple dry launch control hits before staging is fine for these cars. Both could put 5 gallons of 100 or 104 at the track, should get it pretty close after this mixes with what is already in the tank from local gas stations. Definitely would be an epic night of racing, and I'll even pay for both cars fuel to get this done. lol
