Of course people can and will do whatever they want with their GT Porsche. That said, I don't think it's a stretch to say that more people on this forum spend more time waiting for a car, shopping for a car and being concerned about their resale value than driving. Flogging to me just means driving the cars as Porsche and the engineers intended...

That's a very good point. How many times do we see " Build advice threads ",followed by " Harassing the sales associate for V updates threads ",the pinnacle of " Following the ship thread " ,the " Clear Bra aka Condom thread ", " Small mods/exhaust thread ", " Break in thread ", " Impressions thread ", " Bored thread " and the end result 800 miles later " For sale thread ".

But I definitely need to understand and not be so vocal about this subject, since many here can afford multiple high end cars and get bored easily. Nothing wrong with that and it's the result of their hard work.

Seems like apples and oranges to me. These two cars have two different missions. Me personally, I'm not interested in an RS but would love to have the R.

u havent met mooty. he can't type and can't read well and his eng comprehension is beyond believe.

took kids to walk the neighborhood (remember i love sweets).. saw a house with a cute bird house outside. the bird house had a sign on it.... i said loudly to kids "look, candy house"

my 11 yo looked at me, "daddy, it say camden house"..... oh well

so at dealer i only see "pls touch" sign.

and for this thread of not touching cars and thou shall worship it, i modded mango with two "signs", ENJOY.

OT, the bright lights reflecting off the car are LED courtesy of AC Satco. if you need lighting source, he's the man.

Default 911R

Without having driven the 911R and 991 GT3 RS in the same place at the same time it's very hard to compare the two cars. I expect that the RS remains the most capable street legal 911 ever and a totally different drive than the R. I don't own a 991 RS even though I had multiple chances to purchase one at MSRP. And I didn't flip the opportunity either. I simply prefer a manual car and no wing. It is just my preference. I've said on this forum many times that the R is a masterpiece. Everything the journalists are saying is no different than my first impressions from driving the car back in early April.

The "infamous" Florida 911 R was parked next to a couple of my cars two weeks ago while the car was still at Champion. BTW, Champion has absolutely nothing to do with the resale of that car. I understand PCNA's legal dilemma regarding the 918 VIP agreement but I just can't tell you how upsetting it is for me to see that car for sale on the official Porsche used vehicle website for West Broward (PENSKE) when I know how many true deserving enthusiasts couldn't get a car. I believe the folks at Porsche, both in Atlanta and Germany, are equally upset.

The owner of the black car has been kicked out of the VIP program for their shenanigans with this R and PCNA is booting any other 918 owner that pulls the stunt. So that should make some on here happy.

As for what dealers do once they get the cars, still doubt PCNA cares.
