James, did you reverse or change the rear lower control arm bolt and bend the brake bracket as you do for the GT3? Also do see any rubbing with those tires on the rear fender liners or suspension? thanks!

So to answer your question, I don't know what it will do with TC left on.....but I will try later in Sept...

We did not have to make any adjustments on the suspension other than our alignment specs.....no tire rubbing in excess of what already takes place under certain circumstances...

We didn't do any comparison but you can only imagine the improvement of the rate of acceleration going to a much shorter tire circumference in the rear....it was awesome! I got into 5th gear on the back straight much earlier than with the stock size tires, and not just because I had more squirt out of the corner with the 19" R7's.....

Thought the GT3/GT3 RS can't use slicks unless you want a bunch of broken rear suspension components/bearings/steering mechanism/etc?

The only two downsides that I can potentially see are:
1) still not clear whether the shorter circumference and ratio change front to rear will cause issues with the TC/stability control...more of an issue for those who are less experienced, like to have a safety net, or drive a lot in the wet.
2) some 19" wheels will clear the 410mm PCCB rotors and calipers but it will be tight...expect some scoring of the inner barrel from gravel...less of a problem if one is running iron rotors as they are smaller in diameter
Pros...
cheaper wheels and tires with more choices...
slightly better acceleration
lighter weight (I guessing it would depend on tire and wheel combination, but given a smaller dia wheel, it should be lighter)
I plan on looking into this option when my car arrives...

Are you running iron rotors or PCCB?
Have you had issues with TC/Stability control?
Stock geometry or something different?
Did you have to flip any bolts in the rear suspension?
Thanks!
