Default PTS greens Viper, signal, birch.

Am I seriously like the only one on this planet that doesn't care about these colors. The one for sale at $350 to me is actually worth less to me, meaning I would buy about 6 other non PTS colors first. I get the rarity and all. I am just talking about the color. It seems like everyone just drools on themselves over this color.

I feel I am the only one that thinks this way. Certainly don't mean to offend as I am sure a million people hate the colors I like.

Flame suit is on.

I had a birch green Turbo S and the color was magnificent.

Have you seen them in person?

It also depends on your personality. I don't mean to offend, but are you older and conservative/boring?

To me, the historic connection, uniqueness, rarity, brightness, intensity, boldness, etc are hard to match with other colours. An insane colour can really suit a car like an RS. Then again, colour is so subjective and personal. Just ask people for their impressions of fashion grey, and you'll get the spectrum from love to hate.

Ricky Bobby would say "with all due respect..."

I agree with the OP, the green ones suck, blue ones however are spicy hot dishes.

Agree on love and hate. Birch green was like that.
However, I haven't found any person who hasn't liked my voodoo blue RS...yet.

well if you want a Lava orange car I'd sell you that cheaper than a green car- PTS or not. I really like AC's car and Kyrock's voodoo. I think it's important that porsche at least offers those other colors, even if we have to jump through flaming hoops

I would love a PTS; mostly because i feel the colors I like look better than the stock choices. I wish it was easier to obtain one.

I have seen them all in person. Weird thing is I kind of don't mind the Lambo's I have seen in green.

No offense at all because I think this could be part of it. Yes I am older I guess (46). I don't think I am boring but maybe. I wear bright colors and have different colors in my watches I collect etc.

Having said that if I were to get a PTS GT3 like I want it would be either Gulf Orange or Fashion Gray so how weird is that.

I also REALLY like the 997 RS Orange. I do think for me it is the green because I do like the Miami/Voodoo/Riviera etc blues.

I went with Viper Green as it was a good contrast to the rest of my porsches at the time. Right now I have green, blue, grey and white Porsches - I like variety. I had yellow and another white when I ordered it, but I've cut back to 4.

I'm much younger than you so I get the greens (I'm 45) Hahahaha

I actually love the greens and blues etc I think Porsche has traditionally been the "bland" brand. How many times have you heard someone joke about how a new 911 looks exactly like the outgoing model?

So to me the cool colors set off the traditionality of the model.

And yes I still love my black 997 turbo but I think wild colors suit the 991 RS extremely well

Age has nothing to do with it. As we all know, color and design are very subjective. Variety is the spice of life.

OP, I respect your preference. Personally, whilst I like the greens, there are other colors I like more.
