I always say that I don't want this and that in the new cars. Then I drive it and if the car delivers I'm sold.

458 owners that say they won't add or replace with a 488 just haven't driven it yet. It's good. That good.

I have a feeling 991gt2rs will feel the same way. The 991 chassi is amzing and can handle the extra power. If delivered the right way? Porsche is known to deliver. Feeling positive about the future.

The VW integration has me feeling very negative. Their current push for group synergies has Porsche building the V8 engines for the whole group now, chassis being shared etc. I would feel a lot better if VW spun-off Porsche and let them be.

Sorry - didn't answer your original question - yes I'd buy one for one reason ; the monster torque of a turbo .

It's gonna happen sooner or later.

When I was just up racing at CTMP before our races I watched WeatherTech.

The Ford GT, 488s, etc, etc...all turbo charged and sounded like crap compared to the GT3R and RSR.

I didn't see the final results as we had to get ready for our races but the whole time I saw a first place banner on the GT3R and it looked amazing.

Not that I believe 991.2 GT3 or GT3 RS will be turbo, but if they are, i'll have to look at the 570S and ACR more seriously too, possibly even a used F12. I'm not against turbos, but the NA GT3 engine is the most special part of the car to me. If it loses NA, then it'll just be another car in the price bracket i'm looking at.

How could I forget, should be at the top of the list. lol

I'll add: wing too big, wing too small, stupid RS side intakes, cheap black plastic everywhere, turbo body is vulgar, fender vents are tuner, no back seat, no cage.

Time and glowing reviews change things.

I agree with that on a long term basis. Probably won't matter because we won't be allowed to drive. Cars will be like watches not to far from now.
But, I'm pretty confident the 991gt2rs will be bonkers as the monkey says. And the 991.2gt3/RS will be great as well. After that is written in the skies. That's why we should never sell these cars. There won't be anything like it in the future.

Quick Reply: If the 991.2 GT3/RS is a turbo, are you still a buyer?
