Is consensus that there will be a new engine for the GT3RS if GT3 has a 4.0L?

Some have speculated that it may not come to be at all, and that it will essentially be replaced by a future GT2 or GT2RS.
Others RS have speculated that it might come to fruition and have an all new larger displacement NA motor.

* the 991.2 GT3 may have a tweaked normally aspirated 3.8 or 4.0L motor, we don't know
* this 991.2 GT3 will be offered with the 911R 6 speed manual gear box
* there will most certainly be another RS, will it be turbo, have some type of KERS, be mid-engine, carbon fiber chassis, etc. we don't know. I predict it will probably have part or all of the foregoing and will be big, big bucks - this next RS must surpass the AMG GT-R's and McLarens.
