"RS" has from '73 on been special edition. With approx. 1200 991.1RS made that's pretty limited. There are 918 "R"s. That's limited and approx. 1200 RS's isn't ?

I was going to early trade in my 991 gt3 for 991.2 gt3. But my dealer told me to hold on it. They just had a meeting with rep and rep said because of euro 6 emission standard will take place in 2017 so they new cars are turbo charged. My sales believes new 991.2 gt3 will be turbo charged. All the rumours are not confirmed weather it's going to be 4.0 NA or 3.0Turbo. We will only find out when Porsche officially released the car.

My bet is .2 gt3 will be turbo but with manual transmission. If it's 4.0 NA and manual why would they release 911 r now?

Don't the .2 GT3 spy shots show twin centre exhaust on the test mule? I also don't recall seeing vents in the rear bumper like all the 991 turbocharged models have.

So is it 1200 or 2500? My reading led me to think it was approx. 1200 with 600 to 700 Stateside.

I don't think its as high as 2500 world wide.

Anyone know?

Count on closer to 3,000 RS's globally by the time production ends at around September. 40%-50% Stateside.

Not official. Take it for what it's worth but remember that the production run is nearly 18 months. Also, they're not a unicorn in these parts (Toronto). I think I've seen as many RS's driving around here as I have GT4's.
