(and highest revving 911 Pure NA produced since the first 911)

Did you really need to start a second thread about the same topic of the last one you started? If it was announced, then sure an "Official ______" thread would be warranted, but now, absolutely not. As I recall there is intake air restrictors in WEC to keep the BOP alive. Even with the whole field going turbo and 911 RSR being NA. Races won't be own on outright power as we saw this year in WEC. The partial reason for Porsche win in GTE is they are able to sustain an advantage over a longer period of time. If Porsche want to stay NA, then they could. WEC wouldn't want Porsche to withdraw its GTE pro program as we now know that didn't happen for 2016. Porsche already pored a lot of finance and resources into this DFI so I doubt that they would start from scratch for a turbo, and they would want to milk this development to the last drop that they can. And oh, this Diesel gate didn't help the development of a new DFI turbo if there was such.
