I have my name on a couple lists - one dealer called me all excited saying congrats, im next and one is available. I was thrilled until i kept listening and it was a used GT silver car ~$205k MSRP car (no LWB!!) they were offering for $385k.
I kind of laughed and told them i'd be more than happy to write a check for MSRP + $25k, but they held firm at $385k...Told them good luck.

You want the car? Get it and experience another one of life's beautiful moments. The extra $$$ is fleeting, as is time. Make it happen.

Martin you have a 997 RS 4.0, which was the street legal
needed by FIA to get the RSR engine race car homologated and used until 2015 season
now is clear that 991.1 RS engine will be skipped and won t be the 1 homologated for next RSR race car
instead a new .2 RS engine will serve as that "heritage" link to Motorsport
even with a more severe effect if .2 RS would be Turbo
do you reckon .1RS flippers will get finally hammered?

He's saying new RSR which will need the motor from 991.2 RS to be homologated appears to be a turbo thus indicating next RS will be Turbo. Or I guess the GT2RS could serve that role. Will the next RS also have the engine shifted forward with a rear gearbox placement essentially making it midengined? No one knows, but the stars are lining up. RSR is rumored to be turbo mid engine which then questions what the RS.2 will be (if it will be?).

just buy one
drove it
sell it
move on
too much Planck g often leads to failure
most success happens
planking predicting over rated
buy and drive
I have no idea what rsr is
any what's in the race car has no use
to u and I. when Porsches asks me to drive for them in lemans then maybe I'll worry about what rsr engine will be. for now an RS is just a car I take kids to
who and buy coffee so
I
