Sorry if I missed this in a different post - what are you replacing it with? Inbound RS?

Who? Me? an RS incoming? That completes next week 3 weeks ahead of schedule? No... you must be thinking of someone else

Ermmm... try finding another incredibly well maintained Riviera Blue for sale at any price, and then comment intelligently.

It's the arbitrary $ you want to put on the PTS factor. 7k, tracked, GT3 w/o PTS is worth below MSRP to me when you can get well maintained non-tracked cars. It's the PTS factor with no real data so becomes what the market will bear and based on his comments that it is about sold, I guess the market is bearing the premium.

I didn't even mention the sofa's that the usual RL suspects would mention in every other thread but not here.

Couldn't get LWB's on a 2014 so why mention it and all you get for the buckets is your money back for what you paid. I don't see that providing a premium over the cost.

Disagree somewhat.

Buckets only available on 2015 and 2016 production.

Fairly scarce vs Sofa seats; Rennlist posts aren't representative of entire 991 GT3 market.

Correct me if I'm wrong: The lightweight bucket seats are unavailable at the parts counter, and may never be available; GT3 and GT4 production is over or very, very close, there are a few more RS available, and 991 R on the way.

Suncoast doesn't even list buckets for sale, but they do sell:

CGT buckets for $21.5k (PLUS shipping) http://www.suncoastparts.com/product/997GT3SEATS.html

GT2 buckets for $9.25k (PLUS shipping)
http://www.suncoastparts.com/product/GT2Seats.html

How many guys driving a $150K car wanna put it cheap seats that don't match the aesthetics of the rest of the interior; people want the real thing.

Summary - High demand, limited supply, limited availability of close substitutes = High value ascribed to LWBS.
