HOW SMALL YOU HAVE TO BE TO FIT INTO THE BUCKET SEATS??
#32
I'm 6'3" and 200lbs and they are very snug. I have some regrets ordering them because they don't recline. Means almost all your weight is down hard on your behind. So now I get sore after a long drive, which never happened with my previous 4 ways. Interestingly, my Porsche Driving Experience Day car had the sports buckets (that fold but also don't recline). These were more comfortable. They seemed slightly more reclined and definitely wider in the seat. A slight downside is they sit a little higher. I think I will try those next time.

Bottom line is you don't have to be "small" at all but to help make a proper choice Porsche is adding these questions to vehicle configurator:
1) Do I need an aggressive seat for what I'll use car for? (hint: answer should be yes 100% of time)
2) Am I ok with a slight hassle getting in and out of seats that will get easier with time once you master your chosen technique.
3) Do I have lower back issues?
4) Do I drive with my wife in car a lot?
5) For a car intended for track use can I come to grips with people referring to my car as having "sofas"?
6) Will I use my GT3 for lots of drive-in movies?
Answer these and they will auto configure your car with proper choice going forward.

OK guys.....I do own a couple of race cars which I race...the Gt3 I use for sports driving and rarely on the track........I think the RS will be used in the same way.........I'll go with the solas, my wife will hate the buckets anyway......

I'm 6' and 220 and fit fine. That said I think they are a pain for daily driving. They are hard to get in/out off and I find myself putting the seat all the way back every time I park because of where I keep the wheel and seat. I much prefer the sofa's in my 991S Cab for daily driving. For the track they are a must have imo...
And they do look really cool.

well I do vintage racing and have buckets and cages and 6 points for all that.....I do take my GT3 on the track but not for any formal racing as there is no category for that here..........
we do more fast cross country driving than anything else.....my wife usually comes along so no buckets....like I said I can always fit them later....
