Wondering what if any exclusive options folks ordered for their Gt3's and RS's. I'm referring to items not on the configurator. Anyone order the side intakes painted? Engine cover painted? Graphics? If so, please snap some pics!

I assume for your incoming RS? What color PTS, and stitching?

I don't have PTS - mine is GT silver - but I did yellow stitching throughout, yellow door pulls, painted side intakes, painted engine cover, and 'GT3RS' on the sides, ala 997 style, in matte black. I'm taking a bit of a risk on the engine cover, as I have not seen one with it painted, so hoping it looks as good as it does in my mind's eye.

Someone posted a picture of a lava RS with the engine cover painted I believe. I think it was the one with the white wheels, although maybe it was painted black.

Are any of your cars being built right now because there are a couple PTS cars with CXP and a GT silver with CXP and CXX options built last week.

I was leaning towards doing this on my PTS RS, but they can't paint the engine cover in PTS colors - only stock colors, so I decided to pass...here is a picture of the option that i was sent.

Remind me of the difference between CXX and CXP? I believe the former is custom tailoring and the latter is PTS...

I am nearing build but limited CXX - uprights in black (for UV car) and door pulls. Production moved up a lot so was unable to add stitching before it locked...

CXP is the deviating stitching option.

I missed that pic - thanks for finding it. Looks great to me! Interesting they can't paint the engine cover a PTS color. Hard to believe the adherence properties for it would vary significantly with pigmentation, but I'm not a paint expert.

I am GT Silver, but as of a few days ago I was V215.

I found that photo of the car with the painted engine cover and side vents. You'll have to imagine it in silver.
