Tell them you will trade it for a guaranteed 911R slot.

I haven't decided on pricing yet. MSRP was 156. The max I will list it for is 166 but I may start lower than that.

Been there, done that. Not good. Not having a 911 in the garage any time - in season or out - is miserable.

After getting your baby looking so perfect, why you getting rid of her this time? You must have something in the pipeline.

OP.

Not exactly sure the motive but my $.02.

If need to sell because you need the money. Sell here on RL at all these outrageous prices that PTS' are going for, take your money and run.

If it a future purchase you are trying to get, not sure why since you were able to order this one and assume it is exactly as you like, then sell to the dealer.

Problem here is unless I got something in writing I wouldn't trust the dealer to save my life. Most are unscrupulous and several years down the road they will forget about the "deal" or even have new ownership or management. I persinally wouldn't take the chance.

Thanks for your advice

Dealer wants your car for a reason. That reason isn't to get you into a manual GT3.

Wait to make sure you can get a manual GT3 if you want to stay in one. You will never have a problem selling a PTS viper green GT3

Beautiful car

Beautiful car
Thank you.

I read this post this morning and it makes a lot of sense. The dealers just want to make money. They care less about me and my wants.

If/when gt3 manual is available they still would want to sell me one, regardless.

Thanks to all for advise. Going to enjoy the car and sell when "I" want to.

As they should, it's a business. I don't wake up in the morning and try and lose money. Point wasn't to slam dealers in general, just point out that if you aren't looking out for yourself, don't count on a dealer or anyone to do it.

Either way you've got a rich guy problem. Those are the kind problems we all need. Good luck with your decision

I don't know what the tax laws are in Canada but here when we trade in a car for a new one, we pay tax only on the difference in the cost that we pay. That would make a big difference in total cost.

I'm pretty sure carrying that trade credit will not work unless he has another car on the ground-

For everyone waiting for the "next GT3" it will be 12-24 months!

I also vote for no trade. It would be nice if the new price increase for pts allows for a larger ordering window for pts GT cars.
