I had a 935 in silver with this livery as a remote control car in 80s. I loved that thing.

Do you dry it by driving off or bring a towel with you?

As much as possible I bring my own bucket of microfiber to dry it off. Especially during the cold season, if you do not dry it off, it creates white spots mainly due to the hardness of the water.

I don't mind running my Hondas through an automated washer/wash bays but never the Porsches or other high end cars. Car detailing is a hobby my wife and I enjoy and we are quite good at it.

Is this PTS viola metallic? Does it have a Houndstooth interior? That makes 3 GT2RS that I have seen. More cars in this color than I thought.

Has anyone ever heard a squeaking noise coming from the around the Sport Chrono Lap Trigger. Sounds like pop rocks. Not sure if the plastic is loose. It does it intermittently while I'm driving.

Never mind figured it out lol! The plastic wasn't pushed all the way in after looking at some pictures.

My Oak Green Metallic GT2RS arrived and I did PECLA delivery yesterday. Turned out absolutely fabulous. The PECLA delivery experience was epic, and everyone should do it, if possible.
As for the car, we did lots of CXX with the frunk in leather, the back "seat" area in leather, all with cream stitching. The frunk has a custom mat, with one side in leather with cream stitching, and the other side in carbon leather, to match the distilled water tank. Very cool touch by Porsche Exclusive, and a nice surprise.
The whole experience was terrific, and the signatures reinforce why this car will always be a keeper in our family.
Got a chance to drive the PECLA GT2RS on the track with an instructor, and my mind was blown. This car is truly mind-blowing, and anyone who has a chance to experience one, should. It is not for the faint of heart.
Jeff

@JCBH congratulations looks amazing. Drive in the best of health!

Question for the community: can the roof wart for Sirius radio on our 2RS be safely removed without affecting the paint? Does anyone know someone that has removed the unsightly growth?

Thanks! It has been a long wait, but the car was a special project, and they tend to get done at the end of the model run.
Here are a few other shots of the some of our other CXX options. We did a laser-etched armrest that turned out really cool. The custom illuminated sills continue our series...our GT3RS has Kills Bugs Fast(er). Worked out great, and we did the sills differently on each side, which is a nice option.
The key to this stuff is only limited to your imagination.....anything is possible with these cars, and Porsche are very creative in figuring out how to get it done. Terrific company.
Jeff
