I had placed an order for delivery in Nov but am being told that Mag wheels are no longer available on the Weissach package. Has anyone heard anything similar?

This is true. I had to order my WP without the mag wheels.

WOW, great save Seb! That could have turned out very badly..... Any damage to the car?

I saw your IG post where you were questioning the tires before you left for Monza. So a lucky lesson learned here, when in doubt....replace the tires
