If I understand the 918 program correctly, I would assume that it would temporary inflate the used car price for the first 3 years since there is an external benefit of keeping the car for 3 years (or at least 6 months), which artificially reduces used car supply.
Rumor has it that there are around 600 people in the 918 VIP program. And rule of thumb is that you get first dip on all Porsche cars, but you can't flip them. After 3 years you can do whatever you want.
That makes me wonder if GT3 RS, GT4, 911R, 918 prices will come down significantly after 3 years. I would assume that there will be lot more used car supply after 3 years.

The VIP program was PCNA only (not ROW). Last I heard, about 250 owners with VIP status remain in the US (others lost status by selling their 918). This program is not influencing market pricing for GT cars as much as this thread would lead the casual reader to believe, imo.

Say there is no 918 VIP program, you are #1 on the list for a future GT car, your dealer only has 2 allocations, the owner reserved one for his buddy buddy, you are suppose to get the other car, but the guy behind you offers 30k on top, the guy behind him offers 35k, and the guy behind that guy offers 50k, you have now gone from #1 to #4 and no chance to have a car. So what's the difference? You will still have no car either way.

mistress is hidden. they dont exist techincally. they nag more than GF but less than concubine and wives
concubine lives in ur compound (think the different bldgs in the purple forbidden city, yes i have delusion of grandeur) and everyone knows about their existence. they sometimes befriend the wives and nag you to death
and no reason to blame 918 VIP's. i only blame myself not having 1.5MM to get a 918. but hey how many of you 918 VIP have my harem? like i said, you cant have it all.
