Saw the OP's rotors fail at a world challenge and imsa race at road atlanta before too. lol

Racing and track days / DEs these days is practically the same demand wise on brakes. Pressure, temperature, braking Gs. Variables are variables. You need pro products on a fast DE car if you want stuff to last.

Could RacingBrake address this comment that was made in the Corvette thread:

We had a 4' tall stack of Failed Racing Brake rotors. they are engineered like garbage. the failures where horrendous. if you value your life stay away from RB. the part that would fail are these tabs. when the rotor tries to thermally expand these tabs sheer off.
Source- http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...#ixzz420WKhVmx

Have you redesigned your tab since then? I'm not trying to stir up trouble but this sounds like a very obvious and extremely harmful design flaw if true.

If you actually look on many forums, like the Rx7 forum, VW forum, GTR forum, and dig down it's easy to see many reported issues with their products.

Guys, dig up the CTS-V forums which one trackday attendee had a catastrophic failure of his front-right Racing Brake two-piece rotor. The right front actually separated under heavy braking. I was behind him when it happened, and luckily he had a run-off area to escape (T6 in Summit Main course).

He reported the issue to RB, with intent to help solve the problem from happening again, and to no avail - RB washed their hands off of it claiming no warranty for off-road use (ironically, for a product named after "Racing").

Ill dig up the post and paste link here in a bit.

I have no dog in this fight. Just concerned enthusiast who saw this happen first hand.

Wow... just, wow.

I had tried Racing Brake rotors on my Audi TTRS a while back, and had a lot of trouble with brake vibration that I could never solve, so I went back to the stock rotors and the issues went away. Similar to the above OP, Racing Brake wasn't interested in helping me debug the issue and just pointed me to some forums to go read and ask questions.
