Thanks

so if i am not wrong
first 2 digits (F0, E1) should represent
Engine model year E,F,G and revision 0,1,2
while last 4 digits should
represent MA175 worldwide number of Engine produced

anyone with a G series?

I believe that to be correct.

My replacement crate G engine is G01361. It was built 15 Dec 2015. From what I am told there were E0, E1, (I've had both E variants already) F0 & F1 engines but no G1 variants at the time my engine was despatched by PAG in Germany on 20 Jan 2016....

So with you having a G01, does that mean I should be getting a call for an update or parts change for my G00? I know several got a call for the plugs, my car did not make that list.

Edit: Thought you were missing a number, not sure what I saw.

So if not mistaken there are G1 series (coils?) and 1050 G built worldwide
so far

btw car assembly/built date like Nov 14
and engine built date might differ
to avoid any typo pls chk carefully the number sequence
or if doable upload a small pic thx

Any RS pic?

P.S. I dont think we can use sequential numbers to determine units produce for a model year. Gor example my own would indicate 1361 units builf for MY2016 but that is clearly not true. I would guess no more than 800 world wide. remember the factory has been punching out G crate engines by the 100s as swaps. I have 20 on my database and alot of folks arent talking about this or not even on here so Im guessing they are preparing for North Hemisphere track season starting up in a few months and the number series means nothing much at all...
