APR Performance Porsche 991 GT3 Spec Carbon Wing
What's up!
I've been wanting to get a nice wing on the car ever since I did the cup conversion upfront. I couldn't see myself dishing out over 10k for the cup rear wing setup.. I contacted APR months ago to see if they had a replacement. They said they had something in the works but couldn't give any details. A few months later, I got the email! I had to run down and get this bad boy.
Looks bitching in person, photo's do not do it justice.. I think I am going to wrap some of the wing white to give it more of a "oem" look..
What do you guys think? (Opinions needed!)
Do the end plates? Wing stands?
Track comparison, I bent my wheel going over bus stop so it wasn't a great day to push the car more.. I had to throw on stock wheel/tires but you can feel the rear grip at buttonwillow going around riverside like there is no tomorrow. I'm going back Feb 21 and will see how much time I can shave off.
Also will be doing the BBI bar next.. Just have been swamped at work.
Sorry for the delay, I only have iPhone photos, was waiting on APR to post the photos:

Thanks,
Josh

Wrap the wing uprights to color match the car (or have them painted) would make it look way more seamless
Possibly wing ends in wheel color would look awesome.
Didn't find it on their website but am definitely interested, can you share price? We'd love to have these in the shop to sell along with our headers and other 991-3 goodies!

I agree with the uprights in body color. End plates to match the wheels would also look good, maybe body color.

Burning Brakes
Crawford Composites makes many (if not most) of the Race Car wings.
Many of us are using Crawford's 991 GT3 Wing Kit. Kit is $2,960 and includes the 60 Inch Carbon Fiber Wing, Wing pillars which match the GT3 OEM Porsche pillars, Dual Higher LED Brakelights to replace the brake light built into the original OEM Wing, a plug and play Wiring harness for the brake lights with matching OEM connectors, Endplates, and a Wing Angle Adjusting Tool. You must replace the Center mounted OEM brake light to be street legal. See my Avatar for photo of Wing mounted.

Honestly, no. The cup front end I think was a visual modification from my point of view. I am happy that I can fit a wider wheel, with more tire but vs stock, I can't tell much of a difference.
