Audi.

They have the best cookies and cappuccino machines in their waiting area out of the three.

Several friends have VWs and Audis. Seem reliable, but a tad boring. Know nothing about BMW. Wife has a Benz SLK. So, I vote Benz! Sporty little 4 cylinder turbo. Fun for around town driving or top down cruising. Of course, 10 seconds after I talk/nag her into trading it in for a new 4 cylinder turbo Cayman, the SLK is adios muchacho!

I agree. AMG is the way to go. I just got an E63 SAMG...better in every aspect than M5 or S6.

Mercedes. AMG have some interesting models. The GTS is a pretty cool car.

Audi is utterly dull to me. BMW is just an embarrassment of it's former self. I checked out when they started doing the vroom vroom noises out of the speakers.

All three make overly flashy disco ball looking cars.

All three brands are dead to me as recently they've all been just producing big, heavy, numb, turbo, expensive luxobarges that depreciate 50% in a few years.

This why I own two Porsches.

When I replace my 997.2 C2S daily driver, it won't be with one of those three brands.

+1. None of the above. Owned M cars for 12 years straight and they lost me. E63s wagon is about all I would buy from MB (though love the styling of the S class coupe, just not my bag.) Audi, nothing. For SUVs would rather buy a Rover. For a sedan they all leave me cold, esp the bread and butter mid-sized ones. They are all bloated and boring.

MB G-Wagons. Drove a few in some nasty places around the globe and they never let us down. On the other hand, had a BMW V10 M6 and had many problems.

Big. Boring. Bloated. Boxes. (Mostly). M series, R8 and some AMG are mildly interesting but all remain pretty bloated. For my big boring bloated box I went all out with CTSV Wagon

I haven't had much good to say about most of the BMW lineup lately, but I really love my '16 X5M.
