Default GT3 Exhaust SMOKE on S/U

Dear Forum, I had an exhilarating "First-Experience" taking a 991, GT3 for a test drive yesterday. But I was SHOCKED to observe the HUGE cloud of grey-blue smoke from the exhaust when the car was first started. This was a 2014, GT3, with LESS than 1500 miles. On a calm day the cloud was 2-3 time the volume of the car! The salesman blew-off my comment saying that all GT3's do the same thing. What he "blowing smoke," too? Do 991 GT3's smoke on start-up?
Thanks, Gene
PS The test drive was nothing short of ASTOUNDING. I now understand what a truly "unbridled" 911 is all about and why car-writers rave about the GT3.

Keep chasing the GT3 down the wormhole if you like unbridled the older cars seem to be much wilder.

Not sure the sales rep knows his product,
The car is likely equipped with option "POSU" someone told me about (pre oil start up)
oil is injected at start up into combustion chamber .
just be careful when starting the car in a garage as it has been know to set off smoke detectors which brings the local Fire truck to your home for further attention.
Some cars with this option have scripted door sills "Kills Bugs Fast"
Ask the sales rep to check the build sheet

On a serious note, many Pcars do smoke at start up, others don't. If the smoke is white, I wouldn't worry too much about it but if it's mainly blue, stay clear of the car. I'm sure others will chime in with their experiences and knowledge.

I am not aware of a POSU option Never heard of squirting oil into the cylinders. Any POSU I have heard of just build up oil pressure in the normal oil channels.

Just attempting a little humor on a smoky topic, no such otion as POSU

My car may have white smoke on start up after non use for some time and not a predictable occurrence.

Mine used to smoke fairly often. After about 8000 miles it smoked less often. Now at near 10,000 miles it rarely smokes.
