Owned an R8 V10 tweaked with ECU, Exhaust, and Intake to about 610HP.

For celebrity-ism, you cannot beat the R8. As one poster said, girls WILL pick the R8 over and over again. I've had so many ask me to roll down my window to tell me how it is their favorite car!

For sleeper-ism and performance, I went with new well-loaded 991 GTS. Having waited for the 991.2 Turbo/S, will probably go that route in 2 or 3 years rather than the Gen2 R8.

Sometimes I miss the fact that every day someone was taking a picture or video of the R8 out and about, but the driving experience is so much better in the GTS - especially at the limit.

I would pick the R8 V10 for the engine note and N/A.

I also would go for the v10 R8 - better looks, exclusivity, v10, better sound, unless I needed a back seat. I would also pick a 570 S over both

[QUOTE=Para82;12859434]I love it when people say stuff like this, it weeds out the posers pretty quick [/QUOTE

And quickly weeds out the grammar dunces posing as wise men.

I have had turbos for 5 years now ( 997.1 and 997.2 ) . back then i didn't realise how enjoyable a NA engine till i switched to a 991 GT3 , even though the new Turbo is great in all terms , i would go for the Audi R8 . Should be something with the V10 NA engine

Agree. Recently traded in my 991 Turbo for a GT3. If a was going to DD a car, Turbo hands down - it's comfortable, quieter, great for rolling up miles. However I missed the raucous sound of a NA engine, it just adds something to the driving experience. Plus, it's painfully obvious that the days of NA engines are ending, so enjoy these V10 monsters and such before they are extinct!
