Carbon Ceramic Brake Squeal
Hi guys,
There are squeal sounds coming from my RS Carbon ceramic brakes.
Is this normal? How to solve this sound?

Taking it to the track stops it for a while.
You're car is just complaining?

This is normal. The build up of pad material, although not super dirty/dusty like traditional ones, will add to the squeal. I find that using my pressure washer to blow them out will quiet them down for a little while.

Yea usually just washing the car fixes the issue. My brakes would squeal and then like an alarm that meant "car wash time".

I think being to easy is a problem on the street. Mine have never made a sound on two cars now.

Your car has a serious and potentially dangerous flaw. I suggest you stop driving it immediately and sell it to me.

Rotors are broken.
Give them to me. Go buy yourself a new set. I'll dispose of these for you. No disposal fee.

Go to the track ,drive it hard, light up those PCCB , glaze your pads, then tell me how they sound!

tracked the car a few times this year, no squeal but i am not running in the advanced groups yet, so maybe i am not using the brakes as hard as others. funnily enough running a few errand around town today and got my first squeal

On a serious note, are PCCB's generally more prone to squeal? At least on the street? I've heard mixed things.

^No -Same as the stock. Some will squeal more than others(many conditional factors) but over a little time they should subside
