RIGHT ON.

Drove a 997 Cup and a 991 Cup back to back this weekend. Tolerances much much greater. Actions suicidal in a 997 become survivable even non-eventful in the 991 Cup. That delta can only be even wider with the electronic systems in the 991 RS.

The earlier comment about Chris Harris videos is true too.

Just coz I see p0rn stars doing unspeakable things to midget le$bians on the internet doesn't mean I can or should attempt the same...

Well lets see how long it takes for the LWB to post on ebay. I'll open bidding. Also if cars are total loss I'd love to install drivetrain into something else...

OUCH! That white 991 GT3RS is for sure a "Total Loss." Too much damage IMO. I feel sorry for those cars and the owner.

As mentioned by fellow members, we should respect the power of these cars. Whenever I take the toys occassionaly at the track, at the back of my mind is always "Not To Kiss The Wall." There are a few people who buy such nice toys and all of a sudden testosterone levels increase and feel invincible. Actually these few people, their driving skill sets is diametrical to the power of the cars they drive.

Drive safe,
GT3RS-Fan1

Rear or front impact depends on how much you spin and which part reaches the Armco first.

Not that it matters much but Motor Trend, not C&D was testing the car against the ACR and Z06. Randy was there for the track testing but I'm not sure if he was still there/involved when the car took the hit.

Is that purple car really a total loss? It doesn't look that bad, and I imagine Porsche NA gets really good pricing on parts/labor...

Randy is known to tear up cars.

At a track event over the summer, he was interested in driving my car and I was HEAVILY advised by multiple people who've driven with him not to let him.

Interesting comments and assumptions in the thread. FWIW Randy has driven my car (me as passenger) a few times and although fast, was good with the car.
