Default New Forgeline GE1R

I stopped in Forgeline last week to look at the new GE1R. It's an 8 spoke I-beam style wheel. I ordered a set in the color shown and should have them in about 2 weeks. I'll post photos when I get them.

Updated photos and weights:

Factory front = 23 lb. 9 oz. Forgeline front = 20 lb. 10 0z. Saved about 3 lb./front wheel.

Factory rear = 27 lb. Forgeline rear = 23 lb. Saved 4 lb. per wheel.

Total unsprung savings of 14 lb. Pretty good in my book.

Great looking wheel and option away from the FI, which favors a concave look we can't get. Do you have any more pictures, sides of the spokes?

I added another photo but not a really good example of how the side looks in person. I'll add more when I get them.

Default Forgeline GE1

You can find more pics of the new GE1 here;
http://www.competitionmotorsport.com/Forgeline-GE1-Centerlock-FLGE1CL.htm

These were developed specifically for the Porsche centerlock application. They offer a 20% increase in rigidity significantly decreasing wheel deflection and consequently improving handling. The weights are similar to the GA1R. They are also available as a GE1R with a knurled bead to better prevent tire bead slippage.

PM for a great deal on a ready-to-mount comprehensive wheel, tire, and tpms package with Hoosier R7's or Pirelli Trofeo R's.

Got your PM. I'll forward photos as soon as I get them.

I had the GA1Rs on the 10 GT3. I like the new 8 spoke look.

Very nice, what finish/color is that? Graphite? Wonder if they make a 5 lug version?

Looks great!! What is the weight difference between the 2? Any less flex with the 10 spoke vs 8 spoke designs?
