I seriously thought about satin gold for an old school look but decided to go with something closers to titanium. They started machining my wheels on Friday.

Wheels look awesome! I have a set on order for my 911 and I've been following your thread with anticipation.

If you don't mind me asking what finish (Forgeline name) did you end up getting? I went with Satin Graphite but wondering what finish is in your first pics as it looks great. Thanks!

The wheel in my first post is Pearl Grey and that is what I am getting on these. I had graphite on my last set. Great color.

Thanks, much appreciated. Since you've seen both in person how would you say the Pearl Gray compares to the stock GT3 wheel finish and also Graphite? I'm looking for something lighter than black (obviously) but not as light as a normal Gunmetal finish.

Wondering if Graphite may be too dark, hard to tell from pics alone...

Here's a photo from today. The Pearl Gray in gloss is a bit darker than the stock wheel to my eye. The Graphite is darker and looks different in varying light. I'll add more later tonight.

Thanks for the comments. I am really happy with these wheels. Outstand quality and they weigh less than the factory wheels. Weighed both sets before installing.

Factory front = 23 lb. 9 oz. Forgeline front = 20 lb. 10 0z. Saved about 3 lb./front wheel.

Factory rear = 27 lb. Forgeline rear = 23 lb. Saved 4 lb. per wheel.

Total unsprung savings of 14 lb. Pretty good in my book.

Wow, very nice upgrade. Looks better than oem and less weight is always good. Congrats.

These are the best/most natural looking after market rims I've seen on a GT3. Love it.

Phil,

I almost went with 19s. I could have used 265.35 and 325.30 had I gone that route.
