After almost a year my 2016 Turbo S arrived PTS
--Mexico Blue. I was in good company with the arrival of a new RS at the same time! It was way cool to see these cars side by side
Interesting, if I remember correctly, the Porsche of Annapolis dealership told me that they didn't get an RS allocation when I paid them a visit about a month ago.
Anywho, your car looks amazing in Mexico Blue! I'd love to see it sometime so I can see what the turbo body looks like in the color I wanted for my RS if I would've won the PTS lottery.

If they didn't get an allocation, there's a good chance that this was a 918 car and finally came in off the boat getting ready to go to it's new home.
Edit: Just noticed it already has a license plate, so most likely is just in for service. Unless they issue plates at the time of purchase in your state. Here in CA, they come in the mail.

Not sure if the RS owner bought a 918, however I was told he does buy several new Porsches a year. In our state tags are issued at delivery, the RS was a new car that had just been delivered. I would highly recommend the dealer they followed through with everything they represented, first class experience!
Of course the burning question is - if you could only keep one, which would it be?
OK ......not intentional but it looks like my quote was not clear. My car is the Paint to sample Mexico Blue 2016 turbo S, the RS is another customer coincidently being delivered at the same time. My prior car was a 2012 Turbo S, I can say there is a big difference between the 2012 997.2 and the 2016 991.
I had the impression that Annapolis Porsche is a solid dealership after my brief tour while trying to find a new dealership for my service needs (just moved to MD).
Now that you mention it, it was the 918 that the dealer never sold but it did receive an RS allocation. When I asked how it was allocated they said they practice a loyalty program vice a list which is how the customer was chosen. Definitely a good policy for rewarding loyal, long-term customers.
