Here you go. System weighs 4.5 lbs. We use a titanium exhaust for weight reduction, correct ? Titanium sounds worse than SS systems IMHO.

Come on people, $10,000 for an exhaust (LOL)

Your words “ Please name the lesser priced titanium exhaust product for the GT3 “

I gave one example, plenty other options out there too. You are correct, not worth further discussion.

Apple to oranges, but let's leave it at that - I can already see this isn't worth further discussion.

One of the best sounding full exhausts on the market (I've had several iterations of others on my GT3) and great weight savings that none other can compete with at this quality level. I've had nothing but excellent customer service thus far. And this is from actually owning one, not just reading on the internet and bashing a product for whatever reason. Sheesh

I have used both Akrapovic and HRE customer support. HRE is light years ahead of Akrapovic. You people at HRE made it right with an exchange of one of my mono blocks .

I owned one of their evolution systems and really didn’t care for the sound. It was very mild and “tinny sounding”. Yes the welds are very nice along with saving some weight. The pricing however is a complete joke, but if you got that “FU” money than more power to you.

If you live in Canada or the US, we are now the official distributor for Akra. We realize Akrapovic EU may have a slow response times (they're working on it), but we're here to help! Michael.Larkin@akrapovic.com or info@hrewheels.com.

FU money will say FU to your blued bypass tuner POS. lol. Different products, audience, engineering, craftsmanship...apples and hand grenades if you ask me.

I had a full Evo on an M3, it actually was worth something after taking it off and selling the car.

Isn't the Akra basically a stock exhaust made of titanium?

Seems like a neat set up for those wanting to keep emissions intact etc.

Those looking for serious power gains can benefit from a well engineered set up like the RK Autowerks/Charles Dundon set up.

I didn't own the product I posted but only posted when asked what other options were out there at a much lower price point. I owned the Akra evolution system on my prior car. Titanium by its properties will always have an inferior sound to SS. There is no doubt about titaniums weight reduction over SS. In the end, to pay around $10,000 for some pipes that are under my car is insane.

You nailed it. Akrapovics response time is pathetic. When a customer spends that amount of cash for some pipes they should have a response by the next businesses day.

+1

Had Akra on my F10 M5 purchased new around $8000 and sold it 2 years later for around 6K to a friend. When you see used Akra exhaust for sale people jump on it asap. I would go full Akra on my RS but I cant due to warranty issues. They are a big company I dont expect to get a reply the next day but from a small company yes.
