Default Suncoast GT3 RS Wheels reasonable? well, almost

I searched and couldn't find this posted yet, apologies in advance if it is. When the 991 GT3 RS was first introduced, I called a couple dealers, retail for the OEM set was about 13K if I remember correctly, dealers best price as 11K and change, thought later someone here post 9800 or 9900, saw this today on Suncoast's website:

GT3 RS Wheel Sets

#SKU991RSPLTWHL

Platinum Grey - $6900

Gloss Black - $7400

Reasonable is probably the wrong term, but better.

I hope I won't need another set of wheels.

Are there better options currently for track wheels?

^ Yes there are.

Let me know via PM if anyone's interested, how about the 991 Cup/RS-5. I can have them finished in any color you'd like.

Again PM if you're interested.

Define better. Cheaper? Lighter? Stronger? There are alternatives. Whether they're better depends on your definition.

Most commonly seen alternatives for 991 track wheels include BBS (see above) and Forgeline and OZ (see below).

For street purpose I think the stock 3/RS wheels on 997 and 991 are the best looking among all offerings, might not be the lightest but they just have this unique style that the aftermarket cannot match.

Are these replica wheels? How does the 19" version width and offset compare to stock GT3 wheels?

They're original and the same manufacturer makes them exclusively for us in 19" as well, they're forged aluminum mono-blocs. Offset and widths are built to OEM specs.
