Those single post lifts are magnificent. I wanted one of them but my garage floor was marginal as to PSI requirements. I would have had to rip the floor and had a new one poured to meet specs. If I were building a new garage certainly would go with single arms. Sweet!

No - you'd have to use a jackstand or something similar. They are better for storage. I dont do my own maintenance, so wasnt a big factor for me

Just bolted in - yes, i am also nervous, but a couple of my friends have had them for years and havent had any issues. Im keeping my fingers crossed. My wife will probably disown me if one of them falls over.

I had the bend Pak version for years, the bolts don't really hold weight, it's a fulcrum (it kind of acts like a fork lift). The really scary part is the whole platform will rotate about 8 inches with a car on it. I was told the post is "engineered" to allow that! I never had any issues

Structural steel construction pleases the eye, everything has a right angle and makes sense. Are you about $150/sf.?

Lol

I'm being serious. Did I just impose? Yes I did! No point in building it unless you're going to show it off hahah.
I believe Simi Valley has decent wine Seems like a nice place for a gathering.

Project looks great. Looking forward to seeing the final product.
