Nice. I also have a 59 Panel, 60 Double Cab, 59 Euro Ragtop with semaphores, 70 one owner Beetle and a 66 Deluxe. I will try to get them in one pic. I see a BMX bike over there. I have some 80s bikes myself.

That looks like a great build on the ragtop. I hope the rear apron holds up to all the wheelies in its future! : )
Glad you like it. Yes, for fun, but also for some gas money from time to time. Let me know if you're serious about wanting one. Happy to talk.

Anyone interested can PM me on the tables. I have lots of big slabs of various species, and can fab anything from small end tables to coffee tables to big conference room tables and bar tops. Here is a Doug Fir slab from July, measuring 17ft by 3ft by 3in thick. We have a blast playing at this scale. The second shot is of an old growth Doug Fir that looked like junk from the outside. Shatter, pitch pockets, etc. Worthless as structural timbers (and too short anyway). But when we decided to slab it, we discovered some fabulous character that will look great in live edge table form.
All this courtesy of the CZU Wildfire of 2020 that incinerated 80,000 acres all around me. Lost my original shop/garage, but luckily not the house.

Does anyone have a track garage? I need some inspiration. Tools I have covered as I do minimal work on the car. Are decorations appropriate or is it more utilitarian?
We’ve started Sunday night haircuts as a thing in the garage, think it’s time for a barber chair to replace the step stool haha.
I’ve got some wall art on the way, need to finish mounting the cabinets and I’ll be pretty close to done.
SewellGT: where did you source the epoxy and is it a straight add to base or a mix? Spartan sells several metallic “3D” look powders or did you use someone else’s? DIY application or contractor? Thanks JCF
Hello my fellow 991 GT brethren. 997 turbo owner here. Hope it’s ok that I post here and that it’s considered related.
I happen to stumble upon this garage thread and thought that some might find my on-going garage mancave build saga interesting. It has been a year since I “broke ground” on the project and even though I have lost some steam as of late…I’d say it’s about 80% done.
It is an attached garage to a single family home. Tiny little space measured at 16’x20’. After careful planning and placement of things, I have been able to make the most of it.
CHAPTER 1
It all started when my wife bought me a TV for the garage last Christmas. I was simply going to mount it on the far wall. Fun little Sunday project. But when I moved everything out of the way, I just saw disgustingness:
So I decided to do some drywall:
Mudding:
Lighting:
Primer:
Paint:
TV mounted. Faux brick wall because I didn’t feel like doing more drywall:
TV up and running. Enjoyed it this way for a couple of months:
CHAPTER 2
concrete floor was tired. Demo’d:
Poured 6” thick, reinforced with rebar, 4000psi:
smoothed out and leveled:
waiting 30 days to cure enough:
MaxJax arrival:
Placement:
more drywall:
installed some cabinets:
up and running. At this time, I’m limited to how high I can lift it because of the 90* garage door and because of the motor:
Not a fan of epoxy, so I had the concrete polished and sealed:
CHAPTER 3
Waiting (a VERY long time) for the new garage door and experimenting with different layouts and “mancave lounge mode”:
Purchased a work bench:
And side locker:
Finally the new door arrives and is installed. I had a roofline track installed to follow the vaulted ceiling when opened. This allows for maximum headroom and for MaxJax to fully rise:
CHAPTER 4 (now)
With cars being able to go full-rise, and after a bunch of side jobs I’ve done to help fund this project.. the real work on my car can begin:

What remains of the pre existing peg board on the left needs to be removed and the remaining portions of the left and right walls need to be finished and trimmed out. I need to dye the wood beam running the length of the bulkhead and down the left wall. The ceiling needs to be skimmed and finished and painted. Then I would need to install more lighting on the ceiling... I was thinking of the hexagonal LED setup you see at trendy detail shops and showrooms, but feel like that is only in style now, and am looking for a solution that will be more permanent and in style forever while matching the aesthetic of the home (mid century modern)... so ... track lighting or recess cans is another option. I recently purchased an air compressor so I need to design and build the air delivery system. I need to box out and trim the fuse panel so it's not just... there being an eyesore. I'd like to do a computer setup over the workbench with a wall mounted curved monitor. It's never ending I tell ya.
Once I feel that it is done... I told myself that I would celebrate by buying a 1:2 replica of Senna's MP/4 to hang on the wall in place of the PORSCHE banner that is currently there. It would fit perfectly there. It's a lot of money for decorative wall art... but I feel like ... I dunno I just want it.

I have absolutely no life.
I think you did a great job. I get wowed by the big garages, but really admire the small garages where the utility of every single square foot is maximized. 👍🏻
