What's the deal with those lights? Those are the same ones Normal Guy Supercar uses, right?
I don't get what you buy or how they mount. Or work.
Hi Kevin,
Im based in AU - these come direct from the manufacturer in China. I DID NOT use get lit led as per the above post.
I put together a plan of my garage and then we worked out what i wanted. I can help if you want some advice and/or put you in touch with the manufacturer.
Its an easy install.....
The lights come in strips, all the same length.
There are 3 way connectors and the light strips slide in with a click.
The connectors are mounted by one screw to the ceiling (each strip weighs very little) but you can use cable ties to secure them to a grid or beams etc.
Then you need a tail to feed one end, that plugs into the connectors and gets wired to your light circuit.
There are different shaped connectors - "T" "+" and straight - as well as the hexagonal (120ø) connectors.
Mine was a little more complicated (because i wanted to be able to split the lights into 3 sections/bays,) but still simple fix.
Very good colour neutral and shadow free lighting.
Looks amazing ( i think anyway )
Low power consumption (IIRC 8W per strip @ 240V)
Hope that helps!!
Simon

Update on garage/house build. This entire house and how I will use it was literally built around the detached garage. I wanted to be able to see my cars from every possible angle ...living room, hallway, bedroom, pool, cabana, grill area. Hopefully will be complete within 3 months.
Recap: 2 car attached, 4 car detached, wash bay
Both garages will have AC and polished concrete. Just parking cars in there. Garage doors will have Liftmaster openers and rails of detached will follow the trusses of vaulted ceiling so as to allow maximum space.
Wash Bay will have Kranzle pressure washer to a boom pole, which you can see hose hanging. Speakers in ceiling of wash bay area and inside storage room.Storage room will have full cabinet array from Baldhead. Also mini fridge and stacked washer/dryer.
The last image is the space between wash bay and detached garage. This area will have a built in grill (see concrete pad) and artificial turf, with some outdoor furniture. The large 9' wide window looks into the garage. So I can grill my steak, drink a beverage and look at my cars.

Yes it does help. Thank you. They look pretty cool. 6500k is very white. I think they all come at 6500k from what I see. Fun stuff.

Will also be adding Kranzel wash system. Garage will have industrial look with exposed duct work, exposed brick/wood walls. Uncertain of what to do with floors. Hoping to add industrial type fan (bigass fans, or cheaper alternative).
My garage(s) aren’t much compared to some of the palaces in this thread but recently renovated (lighting, paint, epoxy floors, cabinets, general clean-up) ours and I like how they have turned out. I just wish I had more room! The real project I want to do is demolish my detached 2 car + adjacent covered carport and build a 3 wide, 2 tall (3x lifts) garage in it’s place. But that will have to wait because it’s a major project and it’s practically impossible to get contractors right now in CA.
