Looks great. We just moved into a rental for a bit and there's no place in my garage for my pictures from Aaron. I showed my wife your pictures and said 'see they look just fine in the house.'

She did not agree.

Catching up on this thread while I rerip CD collection to Lossless, Apple needs to make a larger 256GB iPod.
Some amazing spaces here, and great tips on things like how to get better results from concrete.
Here’s my garage …well the land it will sit on.
Deciding whether to build the garage on the smaller plot, or a first floor garage with house above at the top of the larger one.
Conservation land to the East and South, no visible buildings to the North because the neighbor didn’t want a long driveway, and 200 feet above anything else to the West for an unobstructed view of the horizon driveway side.
NH, so no income or sales tax, minimal town property tax.

I'd build it up top and have some fun on your nice twisty driveway. My driveway is not that long, mine is only about 500' with just two turns. So far my top speed has been about 45 MPH, but I still have not done any runs in my new 991.2 TTS. So a new thread idea?? 'How Fast Can You Go On Your Driveway?'

Yeah, will probably build at top.
Good idea for a new thread!
My thought, when ~$30K 930s were new, was someday I'd own a 100 MPH driveway.
Now the bar has been lowered, as a GT4 is faster.

Hey mile2424, can you tell me who or where are you getting this amazing artwork from?

I would like to have something similar for my office.

Thanks

Project is moving along fine. The home construction is ahead of my shop construction. I don't have much to present yet other than holes in the ground. The cartoon depiction attached is still a correct reflection of the exterior shop, although the size will be ~3,850 sq.ft. Plus a concrete pad on the back for (maybe covered) trailer parking.
The house will match the shop

I do have some questions:
1. Anyone has a separate storage room to store wheels and tires and other stuff? About what size would be recommended?
2. Any suggestions on racking systems?
3. Any ideas on industrial drops for power from ceiling? (Outlets on the ground do not appear to be practical)
4. What would be the recommended minimum ceiling height? I am going with 16'. This is a single level but will have two 4-posts and one 2-post.
5. Anyone running air compressor in a separate room? I'm thinking about a "cleaning" room of about 12X12 and place an air compressor in there as well. I'm concerned about noise. Looking at Sullair (US company).
