Having had epoxy, stain, etc, I am going with porcelain tiles in my current garage build. Industrial, non-slip, no chip epoxy like I use in some of my aseptic clean rooms is about 8.50sqft, for that price I prefer tile.

Porcelain tiles come in different levels of durability. Get level 4 or 5 and they are bomber. FYI, next time you are at the Porsche dealers service bay, look down.

Another alternative to acid staining is acetone dyes such as this. You can layer with different colors and mix as light or as dark as you like without the rinsing after acid. So you have a shorter stain time and can seal sooner meaning less downtime. The other drawback to acid is you never really know what you are going to get, but with acetone dyes you can choose. As stated earlier it will lighten with time due to UV, but the effect can be stunning.
10' wide is fine, but you cannot open door
i really like door fully open

Since we are sharing various storage units- here's my 'stuffed' 15x50 unit. That's a 24' TPD trailer on the lift. Definitely too tight for comfortably parking two wide, but going up, lot's of clear space! I have room in front of the truck for another car (or two if small).

Tile question
Is it OK to tile the garage floor on a new construction? I have seen varying opinions on the topic. (I have done various epoxy floors, but I just don't want that look anymore... I am thinking Tile for the showroom and polished/stained look for the work area). MANY THANKS...

^depends solely on concrete mixture, conditions when pouring and subsequent 30+ days to cure. Mine has yet to crack but base was mature and compacted. Mix was w fiber and proprietary. Very dry 2 slump when poured. Plasticizer. We cured under water for 15 days, relief cuts less than 8 x 8 ft squares .if you hire high end concrete crew and spend the $, less likely to suffer significant cracking... But eventually all concrete cracks
