A nice, maybe too short, interview with Berndt Schneider. One of Germanys best drivers ever.
He is one of the top level instructors at Scuderia Hanseat and drove this years N24H with Patrick Simon, Christian Gebhardt and Jethro Bovingdon.
Patrick Simon is a german driver/commentator. Very, very, funny and a great bloke. He even commented live for the viewers from the cockpit during the race.
Back at the office after two great TD days at the Ring and one less good trackday.
Anyway, Trakcar you want in car footage and here is some.
The two last laps on the Sunday was a 7.37 and and 7.36.
This is the 7.36.
Pretty decent, missed a bit in the entrance to Hohe Acht, got too deep.
Check out the brakes on the BMW in Kallenhard (2:50). I hope he left the track in Breidsheid
Two laps done back to back. 7.37 to the left and 7.36 to the right.
Traffic on different parts of the track and sometimes on the same show us how much time is lost when getting into traffic.
2016-08-12 8400km Changed brake pads all around from original to RE10
2017-05-07 15700km Changed to Ferodo DS1.11 pads in the front (Easier to get my hand on than the RE10's)
2017-05-07 15700km Changed the front disc to a new original one
2017-05-24 25000 km Changed to Ferodo DS1.11 pads in the front
So in the front the pads lasted:
Original: 8400km
RE10: 7300km
Ferodo: 13200km
The rears are probably gone too, I'll change them ASAP.
I guess I could have driven longer on theses Ferodo pads. (front)
