Better image quality, wireless and cheaper too!
BUT, the batteries don't last long!
I'm also thinking about switching to VBOX HD2. I'm waiting for specs...

I started to use the helmet recently and it was rather funny:
I could not see anything on the center console for instance: Had to turn my whole head just to do simple things that I before just turned my eyes to see. Wife laughed her a*s of: She thought I looked like a weird bird because of my head movements.
Going to be interesting to see how much I can see when I 'm strapped to the Hybrid system.
Next time I had a chewing gum in my mouth and put on the helmet: It presses so hard on my cheeks that I started to chew on my self I had to swallow the gum.
Then I got an itch on my nose... Could not reach nose.
I usually have a bottle of water that I have zip from when done a lap (Nürburgring) - have to rethink that.
On the good side is that I'm not sore in my neck from wearing the helmet.
Go Pro: I have them connected to powersupply as long as they are in the car. You need this frame mount for that:

Going to meet some Rennlister at the Ring tomorrow. (10,11,12 June)
Got scared: The airline announced that might go on strike tomorrow. As it turned out they will do that in the evening and I'm traveling in the morning, phew!
If I'm lucky I can not leave the Eifel mountains beacause of strike. "Sorry honey, I can not come home..."
Anyhow: The weather forecast looks good!
Had planned to do a trackday on Monday but it was fully booked. 98% chance of rain makes me feel better about that.

Also Hockenheim with pistenclub, but fully booked. Maybe they will give you a place if you have good relation with them...

Back home after a long trip home, Thank you Scandinavian for all your support (ironic).
Time to battle SAS and insurance company to get some money back.
Anyway: Amazing days at the Ring. Wet, dry, dry-wet, wet again. Really wet. And dry.
Makes you concentrate.
it was a pleasure meeting you Rennlisters: Trakcar, Ms Trakcar, 24Chromium, Trebien and Nodrip.
And of course the rest of the Usual Suspects of the Nordschleife.
2 dozen McLarens attended 24Chromium's trackday.
(In my country we have saying: "That is not a dozen car" which translates to "That is a very unusual car". So seeing two dozen McLarens at once makes you smile... )
