it seems a universal truth, barring the occasional tuner BMW or McLaren..

That’s a good point, I wasn’t even being overtaken, so I could focus forward, after 10 laps I was getting tired, can’t even begin to imagine what you did for 24H!!

Thanks for all the past 3 months, my trip wouldn’t have been anywhere near as fun without you at the Ring, helping, guiding, drink beer, good dinners with tons of interesting people on the table. This morning my last breakfast as Hotel Am Tiergarten for a while..
I will miss it all.

As you can see, 10 laps in hot weather and no more oils coming out of the breather vent of the gearbox..

Added up my lifetime Ringlaps:

Ive done 24 TF laps + Scuderia S7 from 2010-2016 in Ring rentals, Macan and GT3RS, so call that 34 laps prior to this year.
Added 79 TF laps this trip plus two open track days, so maybe that’s another 30 full laps and Scuderia Hanseat for another 10 or so full laps.

I’m calling it 150 laps life time
100 BTG.

Im not sure what exactly the general saying is but it’s something like 100 laps to find your way around.
And 100 more to really starting to get faster and understand where time can be found safely..

To get as fast as some of the guys coming here for for a dozen years or longer, I don’t know but it takes constant visits and big volumes of laps. It has been and is a huge challenge!!

Threw 3 laps together from last night, just to see the chaos that can be TF and how tough it is to get clean corners to learn, gain momentum from one corner to arrive faster at the next.
To really learn the track you need open track days and schools like Scuderia..

This was actually a good night with just a few yellows and no red till the last lap..

It was amazing to have spent a great proportion of those days with you Trakcar! The most amazing memories and the intensity was huge! Best trip ever!!!

I doubt one could squeeze much more into a 3 month trip, particularly at the rate we were doing track days during the first stint

I sincerely hope there will be a mancation 3. You can count me in from now!!!
