Agree with this, def see it in person if you can - it is more metallic salmon than orange. BTW, for my 2016 they did not allow the color for the GT3 even though it was showing on the configurator. I had July production for my '16, so maybe later in the year will be okay. If you do get it, make sure it is silver stitching. Red will look like ****.

Only must haves for me were lift, buckets (both polarizing choice around here), and LED lights. I added a few other things like full leather (was on the fence), did not take SC given the price and complaints about the track software's issues.

Well lava would be rare but I just don't care for that color. So Red with the red stitching, lift, buckets, carbon bits, navi/sound pkg. free stuff like tank, matts, smoking pkg. black wheels, pccb, black headlights.

Welcome aboard. Black LED's (very,very few around), PCCB's (you won't regret them, assuming you're not tracking the car), anthracite trim (just looks gorgeous and no where near as bright as the aluminum trim), smokers package (finishes the console much better) and probably the Lava Orange (only b/c it will be very rare on the GT3, assuming you've seen it in real). The peanut gallery said no more cars...I remember hearing that last year too that they'll be done with the 2015 cars. Guess they were wrong, huh? Seems like PAG likes $$$$$$.

RS has the cut over to the 991.2 coming at it though - already scheduling first round of allocations for next year now. Mine was pushed from September to a January slot (2/22 delivery date). Not saying there won't be any more, but doesn't look promising at this point.

Good news is the new TT will use a 4.0 - which means the GT2 RS will a be 4.0TT monster! Make the 3 RS look pedestrian...

prepare to get kicked in the teeth on your trade in.. but it will be worth it.

know of any photos of the anthracite trim? there is a big discussion on the GT4 forums about this, its not the same as the trim on a GTS. a lot of confused people..

I was told by a sales manager that there's at least a few more hundred RS allocations coming out in 4Q as production will open until March 2016. Your slot got pushed to Jan because you are trying to get PTS.

The original the PTS delay was quoted to only be 30 days (not from a dealer, from a Scheduler at PCNA), LWB delay then hit which was supposed to add 6 to 8 weeks, so I don't think they're not actually far off the PTS delay.

March makes sense, the question is simply how many Dec slots are now Feb slots due to the LWB delays and if that only leaves one month for new allocations. Could still be a few hundred cars, but pretty poor performance for a company that is in the business of making cars...

Yup, kind of disappointing that they'll produce so few number of cars for us folks holding US dollars ready to hand over to dealers/PCNA/PAG. Some heads better roll over for this at PAG for leaving so many US dollars on the table.
