Thanks, Karim.
Having owned the 997 Turbo and test-driven the 991 Turbo S, I'm not surprised in the least. Couldn't agree more w/ the reviewer's comments. The Turbo S is indeed a "force of nature." If not for the lesser turbo engine note, the GT3 would never have found a spot in my garage (not that I'm dissatisfied with my choice).
2.6 0-60 just makes me laugh. The car is scary fast.

I suspect performance like this will eventually convince more consumers that alternative power units (eg FI) are right for them including for track work. Now I'm really curious to see what the gt2 / gt2 RS can do.

I've not seen turbos shine on the tracks in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. They tend to have problems when driven hard in the heat. Perhaps in European climates they fare better, but certainly not here in the middle east, particularly on tracks. Turbos overheat, hoses disconnect etc..... Gt3 is king here on the track (among porsches), no question. Turbos are excellent GT cars for road use even here. Just not for hardcore stuff. In addition their fuel tanks are tiny requiring frequent refilling.

I think we all tend to discount AWD for track work. Big mistake. However, having owned TT's I found the drive somewhat numbing. Doesn't have the passionate excitement of the GT3 or Ferrari.
The most exciting Porsche I have driven is the CGT. Yet it is ironic that my GT3 with 475hp is faster around the Ring than the CGT which has 612hp and lighter. Tires and technology have come a long way.

I like how he talks about the handling ability, and then proceeds to only drift it. Pass. We already have one reviewer who only drifts (Chris Harris), I don't need another. There was no real interesting content. It's like car review videos have just been boiled down to drifting on a track while talking about how amazing the car is. They don't mention the interior, the electronics, the on-road abilities, road noise, comfort, storage, etc.
