Validity of Sports Chrono pkg?
Gent's,
What's the general opinion on this option? Not even so much as it's actual value on the track etc. but whether or not people looking for a GT3 will want this option when I go to sell this car. Or is it cool to have a car NOT with Sports Chrono?

At this point it might hurt the value to have it on the car haha....seriously right now it is a bit of a disaster but I continued to be promised by the powers that be that software improvements are coming but we'll see. Someone posted some good stuff today on system on functions and features.

Just add it, a small percentage over the base, everyone seems to think it's stupid but you'll always wish you had it, and buyers *will* look for it.

It's a nice looking clock, and there's a huge discussion on this topic very mixed. If you sell it will not hurt the sale value. My last Porsche I never used the thing once, but it looked cool. If your going to track the car a lot it may have some value your call. My 2015 I didn't order, and not concerned with resale.

Not looking to "spec" it on a new car. Looking at a purchase of a car without it. I will have to sell this car to move on to my next car. Also, being somewhat new to the GT3 spec on the "standard Interior w/alcantara" is the dash covered in leather? I understand where the Alcantara is. Thanks in advance...

Great looking clock, and pretty expensive at that by the way. Since your concern is upon resale I would add. Some may say the car is incomplete w/o one.

Sports Chrono works fine, you just need to find a holder for iPhone. A bit cumbersome, and it's maybe the only thing that GM/Z06 has done better than Porsche/GT3
But honestly, why spec a car based on resale? Spec it based on what you want and like.
Cars aren't investments. Nor should they be.

I do not think whether you have it or not is going to matter at resale. Most buyers of a GT3 will know it is just a dash ornament. Do not get me wrong; I have a 2014 and ordered it but it would not prevent me from buying a car w/o one

I like it as well, have it on all my Porsches - to me its part of the Porsche brand, but wouldn't turn me off buying a car that didn't have it.
I do think they'll sort the track app out or send checks to people for the option cost...
