The Diary of a 2015 Guards Red 991 GT3 by ElectricChair
In the same way that a few rennlister fellows are doing, I am going to post all messages related to my 991 GT3 in this thread.
Just for the records, here is the thread I created one day after I picked up the GT3:
I was looking to buy a 997 TT (MT) or 997.2 TTS and I ended buying... a NEW 2015 GT3!
https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3/...-2015-gt3.html
Initially, I was in the hunt for a low miles 997 TT or TTS and after getting disappointed with a few cars, my wife (great wife I must say!) told me to get a new 911. "Well, the only 991 I would buy is a GT3"... and she agreed!
That was in the 1st week of February. So, I started to do my homework and two months later, I have this beauty sitting in my garage.
A special thanks to the fellow rennlister "jkwino" for sending me the lead to this car. I purchased it from Porsche of Annapolis (Jeff Nicklason) at MSRP, and ExoticCarTransport.com delivered it here yesterday.
Smooth transaction and fast transportation. I highly recommend both companies (I am not affiliated).
Thank you everybody for the positive feedbacks posted on that thread

Congrats, rather funny you got a car from up here and sent it to FL and I picked my car up in FL and drove it back up here.

When I was in the hunt, every GT3 (2014 or 2015) I found here in FL was listed $10-20k over MSRP.
I remember your thread about picking up your GT3 at Champion. I purchased my 2011 997.2 C2 from them... it was a good experience.

And I purchased my 11 997.2 GT3 from Annapolis. I had good experiences with both dealers. For the 991, I was lucky to fall into an allocation at MSRP back in Oct, pulled the trigger when I couldn't find anything local.

The other day I removed the pillows from my LWBs. It surely gives a cleaner look to the seats and will be easy to put them back if I change my mind.
Following the suggestion of reenlister kfmcmahon, I used a credit card wrapped in a microfiber cloth. It took like 30 secs per pillow. I just hope Porsche doesn't have a cc processor hidden in the seat and charge my credit card for a "pillows deletion option"
