Would love to hear a 2 min sound clip. I have the SW bypass and if I do anything else it will be to sell the SW Bypass and do the set up you have mentioned

Is the GMG louder than sidebypass? I feel like the sidebypass would give the best sound.

Me too. Except from what I've seen video clips don't do the "live" sound justice... Oh well its better than nothing...

Any differences between the Fabspeed and TPC bypass with the valves?

Has anyone done the cargraphic valved side muffler delete? They say the valves are 74mm, not sure of the size of the others.

Perhaps.

But to me, the deeper tone of the GMG bypass detracts from the quiddity of the 991 GT3 engine.

Makes it sound like someone gave the GT3 an enema with a Borla exhaust.

As Euro is quite weak at the moment. I m going to get the FVD header with cat + FVD side muffler bypass. Remove the SW bypass, restore the factory rear box. Hope the setup will turn out good result. lol

Interesting as I think this may be the ticket to proper sound with some added performance.

The video is of my recently sold GT3, which was outfitted with:

Fabspeed race headers (no cats)
Side muffler bypasses with valves
OEM rear center muffler

Video starts with sport exhaust button "off" (valves closed)
Video ends with sport exhaust button "on" (valves open)

It's easily apparent that with the valves open there is a significantly
more aggressive sound. Having the PSE function retained with this
setup is very attractive IMO.

Should you elect to not remove the OEM headers for the race headers without cats, the sound will be slightly subdued but still much more aggressive than the stock exhaust.

Sorry to see it goes. Did you sell the car together with the Fabspeed parts?

Love the sound these make but like some who use the car as a daily drive or on a long commute would the noise be unbearable?

Also with the new headers fitted without cats does this not put the engine check light on?

Carl
