So was comparing the SW to BBI the same as 997...a bit more aggressive? Louder? ....thats what I want- louder and more aggressive.
I have SW now and from what I've read on ALL the exhaust threads I think I would be happy with the switch to BBI but I haven't been able to hear one in person yet. (anyone in central Florida with BBI?)
I'd appreciate your feedback before I make the purchase....Thanks

Delete all three mufflers with a bypass from SW (or whomever) and then do the side delete from BBi, MM, or whomever.
It'll definitely be loud and more aggressive. And you will definitely notice the difference vis-a-vis stock.

Europipe had a similar pipe for the 997 GT3/RS cars. I tried it on my .2 RS combined with stock header and cats. It's very loud and aggressive sounding at higher revs but can be mitigated with careful throttle inputs at lower rpm when in sensitive areas-neighborhood and around L.E. Can't beat the weight savings since you lose both side and rear center muffler. The sound is definitely Cup/RSR-like. I've seen a dyno showing gains with this setup but have not corroborated results on my car (removed when I sold the car). It would be interesting to see dyno results on a 991 GT3/RS. Can't believe it would pass many track noise limits though.

Oem center muffler is still on. Only side mufflers are deleted , please refer to these pics.

Side muffler delete saves weight but you lose the valve capability. I suspect if you remove center and side mufflers it will be obnoxiously loud and also drowns the overall mechanical valve train noises etc.

My question is, if I replace the OEM side muffler by bbi side muffler bypass. Later I couldn't bear the drone and loudness. so I put OEM side muffler back on. Will the valve be still functioning? which means I can still play the "sport exhaust" button.

I m having Sharky bypass and rs tips now. It is a great product, nice value for money too. But I want to go little further, I'm happy to hear more aggressive sound.

KA motorsport is selling the side muffler bypass for $995. where bbi itself is selling it for $1495.
Anyone had experience dealing with KA motorsport? Their home made bypass is even cheaper at $458

I've been noticing a lot of my customers who are wanting a little bit more than their center muffler muffler bypass can offer (Fabspeed and others).
The problem is, that kind of puts you at a dead end. You could do SMB but combined with the CMB the drone is unbearable IMO. The only other option for more sound would be to do headers which isn't always a viable option.
I have been recommending the Fabspeed side muffler bypass pipes with valves. Combined with the factory muffler you get a really great sound with no drone. The sport button still makes a noticeable difference in volume.
That way if the customer does end up wanting more sound, then I can recommend them going to the Fabspeed mini maxflo in addition to the side muffler bypass with valves. This is a nice and aggressive sound with some drone that is at a tolerable level. The only downside is that the sport button loses some of its functionality just due to the mini maxlflos being so small.
My most favorite set up so far was the race headers without cats and the side muffler bypass with valves. Completely livable though I know that not everyone is into the catless headers.
