In Canada? I lived there at least part time until I was 32. I had a (sunburst yellow) 280Z and then an MR2 SC. Mostly used a Suburban in winter when young, and had regular use of a Supra, a Celica, and a Prelude at various times as well. In theory I still have the MR2, in Canada, but don't know what its condition really is now.

Amazing how many 991 GT 3 owners did not start with a pre 996 911....
It seems the PDK in the GT 3 has hit a new market which is great.
I wonder if the same thread was started at the 997 GT 3 area if the results would lean a little more towards the earlier cars.
For me the new cars feel way to big and I won't do PDK.... maybe I am ruined because my roots are rowing the gears of an early car.

However, for me...while it's my first Porsche.... I would have purchased the car regardless of the transmission. Though, I would choose the PDK every time it's an option.
The fact the car was PDK was not the reason I was drawn to the 991 GT3.

Thanks Bronson! PCars really are something else, and I am thankful to be able to experience them at such an early age, especially the 991 gt3! But something I enjoy just as much is being able to experience this forum and interact with everyone here, always a great crowd!

He's a Brit, they have lots of crazy phrases we don't understand, so I'm sure that goes both ways.
C.J., I had no idea what your main job was until someone recently mentioned they were a diehard Angels fan, and they were rooting for you this season.
Before that I just thought you were a guy that owned several car dealerships to fund his racing habit.
Reminds me of another 991 GT3 owner, who posted for a while before we came to understand he was part of Def Leppard.
Car nuts are car nuts, no matter what pays the bills.
