Default Glovis Courage

Hi All,

Anybody else on board the Glovis or is my car just sitting next to a bunch of Jettas and Tiguans chugging along in the middle of the North Atlantic?

Destination: Panama. Does Porsche have a 'Central American Delivery' program? Maybe I'll jog down and rally it back to N. America.

I'm on it too.

According to my dealer, there are 800 other Porsches on that boat headed to the West Coast.

My car is on that boat. It's probably the last boat to carry a 2015 991 GT3 to my dealership. At last!!!!

I know that the Apollon Leader is scheduled to land in Halifax on March 4th or shortly thereafter.

NG, when did the Glovis leave Emden? I'm on the Bravery Ace that left on the 25th bound for Houston. Must have been a close call as to who left last? Can't find any ETA but I know exactly where she is?!?!?!!

All I know is my original V332 Exit Emden was planned 02/13/2015 and Expected 02/20/2015. My rep hasn't give me any recent info beyond the ship name.

San Diego Port Entry was originally 3/20/15 but I am guessing she is two weeks ahead of schedule, being halfway across the North Atlantic already.

That's funny mine was the other way around planned exit 2/20, expected 2/13 but actually left 2/25 doh!! They seem to default to a month every time with arrival dates 3/20, 3/13, etc. unless it makes a lot of stops it should get there quicker (I hope).

The Marine tracker has an ETA listed of March 5th, but the next port is Panama. Does that mean the ship will arrive in San Diego on the 5th? It seems too far ahead of schedule to need another 5 days to arrive in Panama.

Panama Canal on March 5th. My wag is to add another 11 days for travel between the Panama Canal and San Diego. (3800 miles / 15mph / 24 hours = 10 days).

Update: The Glovis is scheduled to arrive in San Diego March 13.
