There is no excuse regardless of how they spin it. A new car came with defective paint job from the factory is not acceptable. Heck its not acceptable for a Hyundai, let alone a Porsche.

Sadly, this is not unusual with Porsche. Real lack of quality control when it comes to paintwork. Have your detailer measure with paint meter to get a proper feel.

Regardless of how they showcase their factory state of the art paint facilities, German cars, in reality have these flaws. BMW, Mercedes, and now Porsches all have their distinctive "orange peel" and effect. Porsches are no different. They come up with excuses such as the new environmental paint are more prone to these effects. However, the irony is that the lowly Hyundai have better paint jobs, at least clear of "orange peel". Now how come German cars, touting for their over-engineering, come with these issues.
