Question I never received any document showing the extra year of warranty on my 2014

Did other 2014 owners receive an actual warranty document, which shows the additional 1-year Porsche Approved Warranty with terms and dates?

Where did you get the warranty certificate from- your dealer or PCNA?

I can't even find an electronic record of it on the dealer's computer system.

Thank you

From the dealer. If they have an issue, have them liaise with PCNA.

Tim's right. My dealer was able to go into the Porsche system and print out a document locally that they then signed and gave to me. If your dealer doesn't don't know how to do it, they should contact PCNA for guidance.

Apparently, mine didn't process because there is no link when the dealer checks my vin nor when Porsche Customer Commitment did the same thing.

I can't remember for sure, but weren't there 2014's that were delayed production that didn't actually have engine replacements? Was yours one of those? I know engine replacement cars got extended warranties but I don't know if all 2014's did. PCNA should be able to sort this out for you. Bottom line, there is a document you should receive if your car qualifies.

Mine was one of the last 2014s produced, with the engine swapped in Germany in September of 2014. I have the certificate of engine exchange and all 2014s received a replacement engine.

Someone just dropped the ball on my extra year of warranty I guess. I opened a case with PCNA and told the dealer this was supposed to be handled on his end, so we will see what happens.

You should of been assigned some one for your car during the engine replacement fiasco. If not, call Ian Moon, he is very competent

I've heard that Ian is no longer involved with the GT3 concierge program, and am not sure it is even still officially in place. However, if you call 1-800-PORSCHE you will reach PCNA. Describe your issue and they will direct you to someone who can help.

Thanks Mike. I reached Ian through LinkedIn this morning and he said exactly that - the program doesn't exist anymore and to call that number. He offered for them to call him if they had any issues getting me the documentation. He seems top notch.

I called PCNA this AM and spoke to a young man in Customer Commitment . He looked up my 2014 VIN and said I do have the extra year; warranty expires 10/6/19. He said whenever a dealer pulls up my VIN for service etc. they will see the extension. I asked for a letter confirming. He said it was not necessary , but will see what he can provide. I am supposed to get an email in the next two days.

John from PCNA Customer Commitment just called back and said he spoke to the GM of my dealer. The dealer is supposed to issue the letter and the Boston dealer will get it out right away; an oversight .

Quick Reply: I never received any document showing the extra year of warranty on my 2014
