What little niggles about the GT3 that make you go, "hmmm?"

I should get a commission!
How is the wind noise with the windows up? I had something similar on another car that fixed the buffeting but also added whooshing wind noise when driving with the windows up when it was wuiet before.

In my 997 GTS, if the right mirror button was activated, the mirror would lower automatically so that you could see the curb when parking...no such luck on the GT3 and with the wide hips it is an issue. Bugs me big time!

Ok, . . . . it just bogles my mind how what a bunch of idiots need to make this product to have this issue . . . . 8) buffeting at speed with windows open - unbelievably bad, makes driving with open windows a pain and recording any sound at track with inside mic impossible. . . . . buffeting (I'd pay $5K for an option that would get rid of it, if one were available).
buffeting solved for @ $19.95

Ok, my top one is not a big deal, but it just bogles my mind how what a bunch of idiots need to make this product to have this issue. Basically, whenever I shut off the car with radio off, when I start the car the radio is on. WTF???!!! I have to remember to turn off radio before every track session or otherwise it starts to make weird sounds on track, sometimes making me think something broke.
I agree about the PSE button; it should be a sticky.

SanDiegoDavid - what is the link to the piece you had installed. It does look good. We need you to go out this weekend and do about 110 mph and test it's functionality

Oh!! - Nothing really bothers me but the nose/lip is a little long and is hard to judge when pulling forward and not to hit a concrete barrier when parking ect

And race car feeling BS or not most of us would have taken it.
Sometimes I don't get corporations. Including mine. The computer says no attitude that dominates at times is just incredibly frustrating.
Am looking for a solution to fit after market at the moment which doesn't require opening up PCM. If you have recommendations please shoot them over. Am in the UK fwiw.

Lack of OE rear camera and front proximity sensor. Always concerned about crunching something when parking. Also given the wing size P should consider a permanent rear looking camera rather than a rear view mirror.

Same parking related issues for me:
1. No rear camera option
2. No parking sensor option
3. No side mirror tilt in reverse
And
4. PDK could use an extra auto mode in between the two current modes. My Spyder had Auto, Sport and Sport Plus. Sport was perfect for daily driving (traffic etc). I use mine in Manual more than I did with my Spyder but there have been a couple of times already where I've been on a conference call in the car and forgot to downshift, etc., so it would be nice to have a more usable Auto mode. The standard mode is a total dog and Sport is a bit too much.
5. I would prefer to have the phone connection in the armrest (again like in the Spyder) instead of the glove box

...
I literally have "Easy skanking" on every other drive, and 5 times while I get to Thunderhill (2 hours) but I have not heard most of Radiohead songs once since I got the car. ...
d) sport mode for exaust not sticky - I have to push this button every time - could it just remember the setting? track suspension mode is sticky, which is completely counter-intuitive.

Also agree about the sport exhaust mode being sticky. Better still, why can't they have a sticky button which performs a group of setting related functions (remember the old DOS auto exec.bat file...shows my age!) and is programmable/customiseable by the user. They have them on digital cameras etc.
I'd also find a low mounted front proximity sensor very useful.

I have not noticed this with the windows up, so far so good. Will see about over 100 with windows down hopefully this weekend.
